Photo Of The Week – 9/13/14

September 13, 2014

DSC_7457a-sA small Piceance Creek/East Douglas HMA family with no band stallion. Just a mare with the 2 youngsters. The dark one is a stud colt, but I couldn’t figure out the smallest horse from the distance we saw them from. I wondered why they were out there without a stallion, but they seemed fine. The little stud colt had a “unique” gait. Not sure what was going on there, but again, he seemed just fine. How ’bout that view? There’s so much land that it can be pretty hard to find horses, but when you do, they just add everything to a landscape portrait don’t they?
