Chaco and Chiricahua – 2/23/13

Thought I’d share an image from my video sequence, “The Stallion and the Foal.” Chaco is the bay and Chiricahua is the pinto. Both were bachelor stallions at the time I photographed this amazing encounter.
The video depicts two stallions fighting for possession of an orphaned/abandoned foal. (The full story can be read on the YouTube link: http://youtu.be/4JKKWF0ZUGk).
