Something a little different – these are wild horses from the Jicarilla Wild Horse Territory on the Carson National Forest in New Mexico. It was a fun couple of days with these wild ones. It’s always interesting to explore other wild horse habitats. Someday, we hope to go back. (6/2015)

I called the stallion on the left, Blaze. Unfortunately, he has not been seen in quite a while. The little guy beside him is a very young Hercules. Hercules is a gorgeous band stallion now. It just doesn’t seem that long ago. Piceance-East Douglas HMA in Colorado. (Photo taken 9/2012).
