Quick Winter Visit
April 8, 2018
Tom and I made a very quick, 1/2 day visit to Piceance in early March. There wasn’t much snow, but the roads were still very wet and muddy. We were unable to venture into many areas, so consequently, saw few horses. But, we were treated to these and they all looked to be in good condition. Always a welcome sight coming out of winter.

ALL wild horses should look that good! Every one of these sure does appear to have wintered in great shape.
And I HAVE to say it – how strange Rep.Stewart claims there are so many starving skinny animals – exactly where are they?
Sorry Pam – love the pictures – but reading the crap from our supposed reps in DC – they should be ashamed.
Hope you are able to get out & see more horses soon.
Thank you

I’ve read from a very good source that there are 0 starving horses on the ranges. I’m happy that’s the case.
