Photo Of The Week – 2/12/17

Peeking through an opening in the thick brush and trees, a young Piceance-East Douglas filly steals a look at me as I try to get close enough to identify the band. She only stopped for a second and then she was gone. It’s a rush to hear thundering hooves through the trees, only catching a glimpse or two of the actual horses. They can disappear so quickly. I so love their wild nature. 🙂

It has to be a thrill to see that there ARE still wild ones – who know enough to stay away from humans!
