Photo Of The Week – 2/4/2017

“Hercules” from the Piceance-East Douglas HMA in Colorado. He and his band don’t usually run from us, but this was taken during hunting season, so maybe that had something to do with his quick exit. He and his family were up a canyon in less than a minute. I stayed put when they decided to take off. I don’t like to see calories burned during the winter season. It can be a tough time of year for foraging.
