Sometimes, I’m walking in that very tall sagebrush, hearing horses, but not seeing them. So I’ll stop and just stand there and sometimes, curious horses will appear over all that brush to try to get a look at the “thing” in their domain. Such perfect moments. (Piceance-East Douglas HMA, Colorado 10/2016)
