Stallion Play

October 25, 2015

I’ve been wanting to share this series of images for quite some time. A couple of bachelors from the Piceance Creek/East Douglas HMA. They put on quite a show and it really felt like they were showing off a little. I mean, look at their faces in some of these photos. πŸ™‚

DSC_3942What a couple of hams!

I think we watched these guys for about 1/2 an hour and they just continued to play, play, play. What a fun encounter with a couple of carefree wild ones! πŸ™‚

Beautiful wild horses and great photos – thank you. Are these two still out there and if so do they have a chance of staying out there for the rest of their lives? I certainly certainly hope so. They are a magnificent portrait of our true wild horses.

I love the ‘Ham’ photo! They were really mugging for you. Thank you for the fabulous photos! But it makes my heart hurt for the West Piceance horses who were recently removed and the suffering they are enduring at the hands of our government.
