Cory’s Visitors – 10/16/14
October 18, 2014
Last August during the Celebration of Wild Horses Through Art and Music; an exhibit and fundraiser for The Cloud Foundation (such a great time/turnout), I mentioned to Ginger Kathrens that if she was ever in our area, she should feel free to come by and meet El Corazon – “Cory.” Last Thursday, she and fellow TCF board member Ann Evans took me up on that invite and came by to meet my boy. (Ginger never had the opportunity to meet El Mariachi, but she knew of him and his story).

My Foxtrotter Gold just has to be in the middle of things. He’s very interested in folks and all the goings on.
Thanks for coming by Ginger and Ann. The dogs and I certainly enjoyed your visit as well. 🙂
If you are interested in learning about and helping the wild horses, The Cloud Foundation’s website is a great resource for information about the latest events, news and legal battles on behalf of our wild ones: http://www.thecloudfoundation.org/

Pam,
Is Cory a Mustang? Didn’t see a freeze brand.
October 18, 2014 at 3:24 PM
Yes Donna. Cory is a Mustang. Both parents were wild born. El Mariachi was Cory’s sire. https://nickolesphotography.wordpress.com/2014/08/03/el-mariachis-gift/

What a blessing your boy is to you and the people’s hearts he will touch in his lifetime. Thank you for sharing that. He is truly Beautiful like his papa. I’m not going to lie and say I’m not completely envious of those gals getting to meet him. I will always have El Mariachi’s picture on my refrigerator. I’m gonna get the picture/card blown up and framed too. Thanks again…he’s amazing!!!

I thought El Mariachi passed away. I have my coffee mug with his picture on it. He is by far the most stunning mustang I have ever seen. Glad you all had time to visit.

Love the photos Pam. What a handsome boy, just like his dad! I’m anxious to get back over there and meet him.

I think that sometimes too Puller. Cory looks very much like his incredible sire.

Robyn – Cory is young, but yes, I am training/preparing him (with some good help) to be my next trail buddy. He’s smart, willing and has been a joy to work with. 🙂

The pic of El Marichi was the first wild horse picture I have. He looked beautiful. Glad he left a legacy to treasure.

That’s awesome Chris. El Mariachi was quite a boy. And you couldn’t be more right – I treasure Cory.
