ACTION ALERT: BLM is asking for constructive and thoughtful comments on how to manage Wyoming’s Great Divide Basin Wild Horse Herd. We ask that you recommend alternatives that will allow horses to remain free with their family bands, “on the range.” Comment deadline is Friday, Jan. 10, 2014. Please, make your comments respectful and insightful. Why don’t you seek sponsor ships for each horse/year? I am sure many people would be interested. Should be the same amount as Rangers pay for the grazing rights.
They need to be on the range, wild and free as it is their right.

Renate – sounds like a good idea – the question is would the BLM go for it? I emailed my comment – not sure how constructive it was – but was thoughtful & tried to use all the suggestions that were offered. I really wish those of us who care about the horses were listened to.

Please help give us comments/guide as to what we should write. I hate to say it but I am at a loss as to what would be the lingo that matters…
    thanks!
