    Also want to share this with you and all here it was JFinches site this Morning

    Where in this wide world can man find nobility without pride,
    friendship without envy, or beauty without vanity?
    Here where grace is laced with muscle and strength by gentleness confined.
    ___

    He serves without servility; he has fought without enmity.
    There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent;
    there is nothing so quick, nothing more patient.
    ___

    England’s past has been borne on his back.
    All our history is in his industry.
    We are his heirs;
    He is our inheritance.

    I would like to add that “humans’ past has been borne on his back”. The growth of civilization is owed to equines, and now we can’t let them down.

    When i read that poem this morning i was so moved by the purity of knowledge that the man who wrote it has , they are truly all of those things and more !!!!I thank God and Nature everyday for them, they give to all of us , and help us understand the purity that is in us all……………..i will always be here for them , in everyway that i can !!!!!!!! i will not ever let them down………… A Promise is a promise , my mother brought me to them on the Nevada Desert many years ago , the Mustangs will always own my heart and soul……..What i saw there and felt was so Beautiful, I will never forget it and the Mustangs …….nor will I ever stop trying to Free them !!!!!

    Sending a Beautiful Thanksgiving weekend to you all! Arlene, thank you for the poem, I was emotionally affected. So much said in the stanzas, but what stood out for me was the *gentleness of such a large, strong animal, *dedicated to man. *Nobility. *Grace. And Arlene, I can see the mustangs through your eyes, as you described. Thank you.

    Dear Ronnie ,I felt the very same as you when I read this poem , there are many beautiful poems written about the Horses , but this one touched my heart ,because it describes them to a t in every sense !!!!! each one of them is filled with wonderment everything I hold dear and close to me , they are the perfect being in everyway !!! To harm or disturb them is a Huge Mistake ………………………. We need divine help and intervention on this one ……… The greed that surrounds them is horrible ………………… Their perfection is a curse to them thats why the greed is there,they want to destroy what they cannot poscess !!!!!!! because they can !!!!!!!
