Photo Of The Week – 9/27/13

September 27, 2013

DSC_2322a-s

Isn’t this a nice dapple gray stallion from the Piceance Creek HMA in Colorado? He was hanging out with a younger bay stallion, and both were following “Handsome’s” band while we were there. I thought the horses looked pretty robust which is always a good thing when we’re going into our colder season (9/2013).

So handsome! And who combed his beautiful tail? Gee, wild horses just seem to keep clean & groomed~ Take that, BLM. Thank you Pam for another photo to bring a smile.

  4. Maggie Frazier Says:

Looks to be in great shape – certainly not undernourished! But then pretty much all of the horses that I’ve seen pictures of look well fed & fit. So much for the BLM’s worries that they will starve, right???

Beautiful horse! Such physique! It looks as though he has a blue hinge to him. Nice picture, Pam! 🙂
