Colorado Flood Relief Efforts

September 21, 2013

FOA-CHB

Photos from yesterday as we helped out with the Colorado Horsecare Foodbank flood relief effort (through Fleet of Angels) at their site in Ft. Lupton, CO.

The need is urgent and long-term. Please consider donating or volunteering some time. And if you know of anyone in need (some people don’t know that help is available), please share this information with them.

This group can always use volunteers and donations: https://www.facebook.com/groups/fleetofangelscoloradofloodnetwork/

So important to remember our displaced animals and pets as well as the people in need.! Don’t forget blankets and perhaps tack for those who lost their entire tack room. Many blessings to all who help.

What great neighbors & volunteers! I’m so glad to see how people are coming together to help others out. But then most horse people are that way (the true horsepeople)

  5. Margaret Says:

It is so heartwarming to see so many willing to step up and lend a helping hand.
