An evening run at another stallion that gets too close to this black stallion’s band. After a brief skirmish, the bachelor stallion backs down and once again, there’s peace on the mountain. (Piceance Creek/East Douglas HMA, Colorado, 7/2012)

    Thank You Pam, He is another awesome example of the Beauty found on the Range !!!! Although all the Mustangs are Beautiful, none to me is more Beautiful then the Black ones !!!!

    Thank You Pam !!!!!! Do you remember the Horse we all named Freedom, Greg Downer photographed him escaping the BLM ??? He is in my Dreams nightly……. Do you know where he is now, I keep trying to find him, the BLM says they captured him , but I think not !!!!!!!

    Beautiful black horse Over here in Maybell. My backyard looks just like the background in the picture. The horses seem very content in this environment – must be an ancestral connection to the land. Nice to be away from the frenetic energy of the front range.
