Photo Of The Week – 6/5/12

June 5, 2012

A Piceance Creek/East Douglas HMA stallion. I loved how he put his head over the sagebrush to get a look at me. You can’t tell from the photo, but his right eye is opaque. He would turn his head (if I moved) to follow me with his one good eye. These guys just learn to adapt.

When a\ horse has a Blind eye he sees better then some people with two eyes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, his beauty remains unaffected ………….. nor does it affect his purpose for being…….. What part of that does the BLM not understand………………..

  4. Maggie Frazier Says:

Hes beautiful. But the BLM cannot see or understand anything like that – just greed.

He’s got a very typey “old style field hunter” look to him. Very handsome.

  9. Dale (Stormy) Gagich Says:

Simply put….he’s breathtaking! Bad eye or not, he has that mischevious “Bad Boy” look about him with the wispy hair across one eye, that I just LOVe!! I wish he could find a home where someone could protect him from BLM. Stay Free Beautiful Boy!! Stay Free! ❤
