Piceance Creek/East Douglas HMA mare and stud photographed prior to the roundup. The young stallion on the right (love his coloring) has two blue eyes. The mare has one blue eye. A unique pair that I hope are still out there.

***Update, 11/5 – Correction. I thought for sure I remembered the horse on the right was a stud, but since going down to the Canon City holding facility to photograph the horses that were rounded up, I found her in the mare pen. Very sad find…

    Pam, I believe the mare is the one that is now with the stallion you call Handsome. I saw and photographed them on Oct 16 but was not close enough to see that she had a blue eye.
