Photo Of The Week – 9/15/11

September 16, 2011

I believe this mare’s name is Okemah – she is from the McCullough Peaks HMA near Cody, WY. Beauty in the fading light.

We recently returned from an 8-day trip around Wyoming and Montana. I will be sharing some of our adventures and photos with you soon…

She is just TOO beautiful and I want her and, since she has an Oklahoma name, I think I should HAVE her!! Just kidding. You do absolutely the best work; always a joy to view. Thank you..

  12. Maggie Frazier Says:

Such a beautiful girl – Certainly shows the individuality of the wild horses, doesnt it?
Its so frustrating reading about all the roundups – cant get the sight of one lone foal in a pen full of other horses & foals – and
the roan mare who was supposed to be his mom wasnt in the pen. Imagine the fear when they loaded them all in a trailer?
