    pam are these horses related to the choncoteague ponies? geograpgically speaking it might seem so but i could be mistaken.

    Thanks for your comments everyone.

    Margaret – I don’t believe the horses are directly related. Like you said, geographically, they live pretty close to one another. The Corolla horses are much larger and very Spanish. Something to look into though, since the Shackleford Banks horses of NC are linked to the much larger Pryor Mtn horses of MT by certain genetic markers.
