Two bachelor stallions check each other out just before a little flurry of sparring takes place between them. Taken last weekend at the Sand Wash Basin HMA in northwestern Colorado.

    What a wonderful thing to see. Watching horses either challenge each other or play together goes straight to the heart. they are wonderful, regal, and inspiring animals.

    thanks once again Pam, one of my favorite pastimes is watching horses interact with each other, they are the most fascinating animals to me. Seeing their “wild” behaviors brings me to new understanding of my horses actions.

    Once you are able to spend enough time with them, you begin to really SEE who they are, not what, but WHO.. We’re convinced they “talk to each other” just the ways pups do or birds or so many other critters on this planet! Great shot, Pam!
