Photo Of The Week – 2/3/10

Mom's Mane

Adobe Town HMA youngster chewing his mama’s mane. Then he went for her tail. Next, another herd member’s mane and tail. He just continued to pester the heck out of his family. So cute to watch. (April, 2007).

What a cutie!! Good thing his mama is not a show horse – that might be grounds for a good spanking!

  4. Hi Pam,
I love the “Mom’s Mane” photo. Those eyes are something else in the little one.
Also, I just finished re-reading the history of Senator’s Burn’s bill (2004) that opened up slaughtering of the horses, and the developments that have since followed in the House and the Senate to repeal it and protect the horses once more. It is truly appalling how their safety and protection has been repeatedly tharwted. I hope and pray justice prevails before it is too late.
Thanks for putting this out again to be read and acted upon.
    Karen

Mama can I? Mama can I? You know harass the parent til they give in. I think this is a great caption for this little guy. But oh what a cutie pie.

I think I’m in love again.
